RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING
1. Shuffle Responsible Gaming and Self-Exclusion Policy
This Responsible Gaming and Self-Exclusion Policy is issued by Natural Nine B.V. (“Shuffle”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company incorporated in Curaçao that operates the online casino available at www.shuffle.com the “Website” under Curaçao licence number OGL/2024/1337/0628.
2. Responsible gaming
Shuffle is committed to operating the Website in a safe, responsible and socially conscious manner. We provide customers with tools, procedures and resources designed to support a safer gambling experience and to help ensure that betting remains planned and budgeted entertainment.
This Policy explains the risks associated with problem gambling and outlines the measures we make available to help customers manage their gambling behaviour.
The Website is intended for entertainment purposes only. You should not use gambling on Shuffle or elsewhere as a way to earn income, solve financial problems or recover debts. You should only gamble with money that you can afford to lose.
3. Problem gambling
Problem gambling occurs when gambling begins to negatively affect a person’s life. Signs that gambling may be becoming a problem include:
- Spending more time or money on gambling than you can afford;
- Finding it difficult to stop gambling;
- Losing interest in normal hobbies, activities or routines;
- Concealing your gambling or being dishonest with others about it;
- Trying to win back losses or gambling to deal with financial difficulties;
- Borrowing money, selling belongings or failing to pay bills in order to fund gambling;
- Needing to gamble for longer periods or with larger amounts to feel the same level of excitement;
- Neglecting work, studies, family, personal wellbeing or household responsibilities due to gambling;
- Feeling anxious, guilty, worried, depressed or irritable because of gambling; and
- Drinking alcohol excessively while gambling in a way that affects your judgement.
If any of these warning signs apply to you, we strongly encourage you to consider protective steps, including:
- Self-excluding or closing your account;
Setting responsible wager limits and/or loss limits; and
Seeking assistance from trusted independent support organisations.
4. Self-excluding or closing your account
If you believe that you may be at risk of developing a gambling problem, or if you already consider that gambling has become a problem for you, we strongly recommend using the self-exclusion option available to all users.
Self-exclusion prevents you from gambling on the Website for a selected period. Available periods are 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 6 months or permanently. If you wish to stop playing permanently, you should also consider closing your account.
5. How self-exclusion works
Self-exclusion may be applied to Casino, Sports, or to both Casino and Sports together.
If you choose to self-exclude from Casino or Sports only, you may still be able to log in to your account, but you will not be able to place bets for the selected gambling activity. If you choose to self-exclude from both Casino and Sports, you will not be able to log in to your account.
If you need to withdraw any remaining balance, you may contact our Customer Support team for assistance and further information at support@shuffle.com.
During any self-exclusion period, regardless of the option selected, your account cannot be re-enabled for any reason. We will also take steps to identify and close any new accounts that you may attempt to create.
6. How to self-exclude
You can self-exclude your account by selecting Self-exclusion in your Shuffle Wise dashboard. If you need help submitting a self-exclusion request, you can contact our Customer Support team at support@shuffle.com.
Once your self-exclusion request is received, a 24-hour cooldown period will apply. During this cooldown period, you will not be permitted to place bets for the gambling activity from which you chose to self-exclude.
After the cooldown period ends, you will receive an email inviting you to extend your self-exclusion period through your account settings dashboard. If you do not extend the self-exclusion period within 24 hours of receiving that email, your account will become unrestricted.
If you choose self-exclusion, we will remove you from our marketing databases. We also recommend that you disable notifications from shuffle.com and delete or uninstall any Shuffle apps, downloads and social media links.
7. Self-exclusion from other operators
If you decide to self-exclude from the products and services offered on the Website, we strongly recommend that you also seek exclusion from any other gambling operators with whom you hold an account.
You can do this by contacting those gambling operators directly. You may also wish to consider installing software that blocks access to gambling websites.
8. Setting responsible wager and loss limits
To support responsible play, Shuffle allows you to set limits on the amount of funds you can wager or lose during a selected period.
These limits may be used at the same time. If either limit is reached, further gambling will be blocked until the relevant time period has passed. You may set limits on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
The loss limit is calculated by reference to net losses and therefore takes into account any bonuses or profits you may receive.
You can set wager limits and loss limits by selecting Gambling limits in your Shuffle Wise dashboard. If you require assistance setting a wager limit and/or loss limit, you can contact Customer Support at support@shuffle.com.
9. Seeking help and support from trusted independent organisations
